Project started in 2008 - Alappad. A tsunami hit area

By 2008 academic year, 10 children between the ages of 10 and 13 were sponsored by the Ted Foundation and a
telephone box and medical fund were given to the school.
The Headteacher, Head of the Parent/Teachers Association and the Ted Foundation Indian and English branches.  

A beautiful place destroyed by a tsunami. New houses, fishing boats and nets can now be seen but there are many people
struggling to find a sustainable income.
