An appeal to help others in need

The Ted Foundation supports school children and their families in south India who are in the Below Poverty Line category, by supplying educational needs, school uniforms, books etc. to help them in their studies to secure a better life. This helps to keep children at school and encourages them in their lives.

As a fully volunteer run organisation our costs are minimal and EVERY penny donated gets put to good use.

  • Sponsorship of one child costs just £30 a year, or £2.50 a month
  • Please download the standing order form for convenient repeat donations
  • Or use Paypal on info@tedfoundation.org
  • All of that money is used directly on educational needs
  • All Ted Foundation members/trustees are volunteers and claim no expenses
  • No administrative expenses are paid out of funds
  • Any additional costs are borne by one of the trustees personally
  • Projects are organised by qualified local Indian social workers

This is Reyma. Remya's vilage in India was partly destroyed by the tsunami in December 2004 and most of the families there are still struggling to make a sustainable living in this fishing community.

Please support our valuable work by sending

£2.50 a month or £30 a year

Every penny you give as a sponsor goes directly to buying what is needed. YES – every penny. Now that’s rare!

We are a small charity where any overheads are met by volunteers. The buying is done locally to where the child lives, by qualified volunteer Social Workers.
